Terms of Use
There was a time when a game arrived in a box. You read the back on the way home. You lined the spines up on a shelf, and they said something about who you were.
Then the libraries went digital. Thousands of titles, always there, never quite on the wall. The games were ours. The shelf was empty.
game2case is a small, free project for that missing shelf. Search a game you already own. Print a case. Put it next to the others. Made by fans, for fans — not a company, not a store, not an official anything. Just a way to bring a little of that cardboard ritual back.
What this is
game2case is a free, unofficial fan project. We have no affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, or other relationship with any game, publisher, developer, or platform shown here. Nothing on this site is an official product.
We do not sell cases, files, prints, or games. We do not take payments. There is no account and no login.
Where the games come from
Titles, covers, screenshots, ratings, and other catalog details are fetched from IGDB. Data and images are provided by IGDB / Twitch. We do not speak for them, and their availability is not a license for you — or us — to sell anything.
We cache public catalog data on our server so search stays fast. That cache is game metadata, not your data.
Your data
We do not ask you to sign in. We do not collect, store, or sell personal user data. Designs, uploads, and the PDFs you export stay in your browser and are never uploaded to us.
We do not run analytics or tracking cookies. If that changes, these terms will change with it.
Personal use only
This project is strictly for personal use: printing a replacement sleeve for a game you already own, for your own shelf.
Any sale of cases, wraps, files, or prints made with game2case is prohibited. That includes commissions, Etsy listings, print-on-demand, bundles, and giving the files to someone else to sell. If money changes hands around a case from this site, that use is not allowed.
Respect the marks. Buy the games.
Game names, artwork, logos, characters, and platform marks belong to their owners. We respect those marks. Platform badges here are for identification only — they do not mean endorsement by Valve, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or any publisher or developer.
We explicitly encourage you to always buy games on the original platforms: Steam, the console store, the publisher's shop. Not grey-market dumps. Support the people who made the thing you want on your shelf.
Artwork and copyright
Covers, screenshots, logos, and names are copyrighted. Being listed on IGDB does not make them free to reuse commercially. You are responsible for how you print and use the files you generate.
Age ratings
Age ratings shown on cases are informational only. They are not legal advice and may be incomplete or out of date.
As-is
The site is provided as-is, with no warranty. Search can fail. Art can be missing. Prints can come out wrong. You use it at your own risk.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
